Agoraponic Farms

Customized hydroponic systems for those in need.

Agoraponic Farms is a student-led nonprofit, with the goal to design, supply, and build  hydroponics systems to grow food sustainability across the USA.

The Problem

  • In the United States, 1 in 6 households experience food insecurity. Among college students, that proportion is even higher.

  • Nearly 30% of students at Rutgers University face food insecurity, and that percentage can surpass 56% at other schools across the country.

Our Story

"Fresh, healthy food is a right, not a privilege."

Founded through Rutgers Enactus in 2017, Agoraponic Farms is a  team of engineering, business, and plant science undergraduates combating the food scarcity issue nationwide.
